Rosa roxburghii, or “cili,” is a wild fruit prized for its extremely high Vitamin C content—up to 100 times that of oranges. With a tangy, refreshing flavor, it is used in juices, preserves, and wellness products. Guizhou, particularly Bijie and Liupanshui, has built an integrated industry around cili cultivation and processing.         
     Rosa roxburgii products are exported to countries including the UK, Japan, and South Korea. The cili industry plays a vital role in poverty alleviation and economic development in rural Guizhou.
