Guizhou’s highland environment—with its misty mountains, abundant rainfall, and fertile soil—produces premium green and black teas. Rich in antioxidants, polyphenols, and amino acids, teas like “Duyun Maojian” and “Zunyi Black” are known for their freshness and smooth taste.
      Guizhou has over 4.6 million hectares of tea gardens and produces nearly 470,000 tons annually, generating an industry value of over RMB 64 billion (USD 8.9 billion). Tea is the province’s top agricultural export, supported by modern processing standards and over 50 export-oriented companies. Through the Belt and Road Initiative, Guizhou teas are reaching more global markets each year.
